COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Archery has announced the 2025 USA Archery Collegiate Archery Program Regional Coaches of the Year, as the best student-athletes are set to gather for the Collegiate Target Nationals.
These coaches demonstrated exceptional contributions to their archers and the Collegiate Archery Program as a whole. In the past year, the four have shown tireless dedication to the sport, and their archers have seen success in the classroom and on the archery field.
Collegiate Archery Programs submitted nominations for candidates to USA Archery, and each group had the opportunity to vote for one Regional Coach of the Year for their respective region.
The 2025 Collegiate Archery Program Regional Coach of the Year honors are awarded as follows:
East Region award winner, E.G. LeBre (pictured) commented: “I am deeply honored to have been nominated and then selected as East Region Coach of the year. Collegiate coaching is unique in that we coaches get to see young people come to campus and over the course of four years graduate as adults heading to professional careers.”
“I strive and I feel most college coaches have a similar approach that through coaching we help each athlete develop not only their athletic skills but their personal and professional skills during their time with us.
“That transformation over those years hopefully benefits them as much it does myself. I challenge them as a coach to be better athletes and confident people. They in turn challenge me to continue to improve my skills both as a coach and as a person. That’s why I coach.”
In addition to regional recognition, these coaches are now in the running for the USA Archery Collegiate Archery Program National Coach of the Year award. The USA Archery Coach Advisory Council, Collegiate Archery Program Advisory Council and select USA Archery staff will review nominations and vote to determine the National Coach of the Year winner.
References to nominee name and school will be removed from nomination materials prior to voting. All individuals with a conflict of interest will abstain from voting.
The Collegiate Archery Program National Coach of the Year will be announced at Collegiate Target Nationals May 15-18 in Lansing, Mich.
