USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals Heads to Richmond for 2021

RICHMOND, Virginia – USA Archery is pleased to announce that Richmond, Virginia will be the host city for the 2021 National Collegiate Target Championships and World University Games – U.S. Team Trials on May 20-23.

Dorey Park will set the stage for hundreds of the nation’s top collegiate student-athletes in Virginia for this annual favorite event.

“Henrico County is thrilled to welcome the Outdoor Collegiate Nationals to Dorey Park,” said Board of Supervisor member Tyrone Nelson. “We strive to maintain top-notch athletic facilities and can’t wait to show off the Richmond Region to hundreds of archers and their families.”

The Collegiate Target Nationals competition includes a welcome parade for teams, qualification round, mixed team and team events, and finally individual elimination matches. 

The event will also include the 2021 World University Games – U.S. Team Trials. The World University Games will take place in August in Chengdu, capital of the Sichuan Province of China.

Archers can compete for medals in all events, in addition to the prestigious National Team Championship award and All-American and Academic All-American Honors. USA Archery will also recognize the outstanding accomplishments of collegiate coaches with National Coach of the Year honors.
