USA Archery Announces Election Results for Athlete Advisory Councils

COLORADO SPRINGS, Col. – USA Archery recently held elections to fill seats for representatives and alternates for the USAA Athlete Advisory Council – three compound seats. A separate election was held to fill one recurve and three compound seats on the USAA Para Athlete Advisory Council.

Members of the Athlete Advisory Councils represent the athlete membership and act as a voice on their behalf, broaden communication between USA Archery and athletes and provide input on selection procedures and other policies and procedures which impact the athlete community.

Newly elected Para AAC Recurve representative Candice Caesar remarked, “I will ensure the voices of para-athletes are heard and empower USA Archery to inspire positive change and increase our sport's growth.”

AAC Compound representative Steve Marsh added, "I have been competing for a long time, and I am thrilled to see how I can help make this sport we all love a little better. I’m delighted that people think that I will be a good voice for them on the council.”
