USA Archery Announces 2020 National Events Schedule

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - The 2020 USA Archery event season will be jam packed with fun and competitive events across the nation. Mark your calendars because you will not want to miss these!

Every single USA Archery national event this year set a new attendance record and we are so grateful for your participation and support of our events. In 2020 USA Archery will look to build upon and rebrand our events as we improve our offerings and make next year bigger and better than ever before.

First up, the USA Archery Indoor Nationals will be contested in thirteen regional locations across five weekends. Bonus, the top eight archers in the male and female recurve and compound divisions, the top eight barebow archers, and top collegiate archers will compete in an exciting head to head finals event on March 19-20 in Louisville, Kentucky. 

The USA Archery Indoor Nationals schedule is as follows:

  • January 17-19: Florida
  • January 31-February 2: New Mexico, Texas, Minnesota, Chula Vista
  • February 14-16: Ohio, Sacramento
  • February 21-23: Georgia, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania
  • February 28-March 1: Utah, Virginia, Michigan

Arizona Cup kicks off the 2020 USAT Event Series again on April 3-5 in Phoenix, followed by Gator Cup in Newberry, Florida on May 22-24. The third event, the SoCal Showdown, is June 12-14 in Chula Vista, California, and the season wraps in Dublin, Ohio for the Buckeye Classic, dates TBC.

The 136th USA Archery Target Nationals and U.S. Open head to Richmond, Virginia on August 12-15 and the 2020 USA Archery JOAD Target Nationals return to Decatur, Alabama.

“We are thrilled to welcome USA Archery Athletes and fans to Decatur, AL,” agreed Danielle Gibson, President/CEO, Decatur Morgan County Tourism. “Decatur Morgan County Tourism is excited to host the 2020 USA Archery JOAD Target Nationals.” 

The USA Archery Field Nationals and World Archery Field Championships - U.S. Team Trials will head to Yankton, South Dakota, dates TBC.  

For the Collegiate Archery Program, there are also many exciting opportunities for competition in 2020. USA Archery will continue to offer collegiate divisions at the Indoor Nationals events and add collegiate divisions to the Indoor Nationals Final. Regional Target and 3D Championships will continue across the nation and the Easton Archery Center of Excellence in Chula Vista, California will again host the 2020 USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals.

On the world stage, 2020 is a huge year with the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. Dates and locations for the Trials are available here. USA Archery will also host a Para World Ranking Event in Tucson, Arizona on April 16-19.
