Registration Now Open for 2022 USA Archery JOAD Target Nationals

DECATUR, Ala. – The 2022 USA Archery JOAD Target Nationals returns to the Jack Allen Recreation Complex in Decatur, Ala. on July 20-24. JOAD Target Nationals is a fun and exciting national event for archers ages 8-20. Nearly 1,000 archers from across the country come together to compete for medals and college scholarships.

The event will feature an official practice day with a special welcome reception to kick off a weekend of archery excitement. Following are two days of qualification, head-to-head individual elimination matches, and back by popular demand, an optional team round day!

New this year, USA Archery is offering Fixed Pins divisions for all age categories. Fixed Pins archers will shoot the same distances as compound archers but will score the outer 10-ring. USA Archery is also proud to introduce Para youth categories. Archers will shoot in a combined gender division for each age class for qualification but will be merged with the appropriate able-body category for elimination rounds.

Archers who register for the optional team round will randomly be placed on a team based on age, gender and bow type. Teams will be ranked randomly.

As a reminder, JOAD Target Nationals is a required event for qualification for the 2023 United States Archery Team (USAT) for all U18 and U21 teams and is a qualifying event for the 2023 Regional Elite Development (RED) Program.

The deadline to register is July 6, 2022. Sign up today!
