Olympic Archery in Schools Program positioned for growth in 2026

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - As we look ahead to 2026, USA Archery has announced updates to the Olympic Archery in Schools (OAS) Program.

OAS, which now features a new program logo and website, will have an enhanced social media presence and expanded program offerings, and is poised for nationwide growth to provide new opportunities for schools and youth.

A new OAS Program Guidebook, refreshed curriculum (coming soon), and expanded competition categories will provide students of all skill levels the resources necessary to develop as an athlete and to personally develop within the values of Leadership, Honor, Confidence, Respect and Competence.

OAS participants will be eligible to earn Junior Olympic Archery Development awards for progressive scoring achievements and be considered for recognition by their teachers and school for character development awards.

USA Archery will offer expanded competition categories in the OAS program to include recurve, barebow, basic compound (Middle School) and compound (High School). Students will also have a change to participate in virtual, state and national competitions.

Teachers and schools interested in starting an OAS Program should visit USA Archery's website to learn club registration, equipment packages and more!
