LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Brady Ellison stormed to a third consecutive Indoor World Series title, capping his run with a 12th Vegas Shoot victory as the 2026 Indoor Archery World Series reached a dramatic conclusion over the weekend.

Ellison’s recurve triumph came after three days of competition at the Vegas Shoot, where he edged victory by a single point with 886. Marcus D’Almeida and Santiago Arcila both finished on 885, with the Brazilian securing second after a shootoff.

The win in Vegas catapulted Ellison to the top of the final Indoor World Series standings, allowing him to successfully defend his title and make it three in a row. He leapt five places in the rankings, finishing ahead of D’Almeida and Andres Temino Mediel, who did not compete at the Vegas Shoot.

For Casey Kaufhold, victory in Vegas marked a third win at the prestigious event. Her score of 884 secured gold in the recurve women’s division by four points over teammate Catalina GNoriega. The result lifted Kaufhold from ninth to third in the final Indoor World Series rankings, while GNoriega climbed 18 places to fifth overall.

“This one felt different for me in so many ways,” Kaufhold wrote on social media. “I’ve been shooting a higher arrow volume and training harder than I ever have.

“It is so fulfilling to walk away with a win and the highest score I’ve ever shot in Vegas. However, I’m still reaching for that coveted 300. There is always next year, but for now … IT’S OUTDOOR SEASON BABY!”

In the compound women’s division, five athletes posted perfect 900 qualification scores, including Americans Alexis Ruiz, Julia Rives and Taylor Miller. A shootdown decided the medals, with Ruiz taking silver and Rives bronze. Ruiz ultimately finished fifth overall in the Indoor World Series standings.

The compound men’s event saw 32 archers shoot 900, including Bodie Turner, who made history by scoring Xs with all 90 arrows - the first to achieve the feat at the Vegas Shoot. Turner claimed bronze behind Matthew Burns and champion Mike Schloesser.

A fifth-place finish in Vegas for Stephan Hansen saw him overtaken by Schloesser and into the silver medal position in the final Indoor World Series ranking.
