Urgent Schedule Change for Outdoor Nationals

There is a threat of severe weather over the next two days. In order to get in as much shooting as possible, the following schedule change has been made.

The Elimination Rounds for the Easton JOAD Nationals will take place TOMORROW (Saturday), with practice beginning at approximately 1:00 pm. and shooting beginning at approximately 1:45 pm.

The U.S. Open will take place as scheduled. The Easton JOAD Nationals Team Rounds are STILL a required event, and they will be conducted on Sunday. Adult open team rounds will be conducted as weather and time permit, beginning at approximately 4:45 pm.

Per the Severe Weather Policy, available at http://www.usarchery.org, competition will take place in rain, but will stop for lightning or other dangerous weather conditions.

We will make every attempt to complete all phases of this event, but our first concern will be for the safety of the athletes, officials, field crew and staff.

Throughout the next two days, please check in frequently with USA Archery for additional updates as needed. We will post any weather related announcements on usarchery.org, Facebook and Twitter.

Match progressions for Saturday are as follows, pending weather conditions:

The 1/32 through bronze medal matches will be conducted using simultaneous shooting.
The gold medal matches will use ALTERNATING shooting and will be broadcast on the TV targets.

Select matches throughout the day will be broadcast on the TV targets. We will announce the matches that are selected for the TV targets at the beginning of each match. The live stream may be viewed for free at
