COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Archery is now accepting applications for the 2025 Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) grant program.
The Ann Hoyt/Jim Easton JOAD Grant is made possible by archery legend Ann Hoyt and the National Archery Association Foundation.
Through contributions from the Ann Hoyt Legacy Fund and the National Archery Association Foundation, USA Archery Youth and Both Clubs who are actively implementing the JOAD Achievement Program and attending USA Archery JOAD events can request up to $2,000 for items such as target butts, stands, archery equipment, general supplies and coach certifications.
"The Southern Maryland Archery (SMA) Club is proud to have received the Ann Hoyt/Jim Easton JOAD Grant," said President, Tammy L.S. Wright.
"This generous support enabled us to purchase essential archery and safety equipment to better serve new archers, members with limited resources, and participants in our community outreach programs - including “Try Archery” events, archery birthday parties, Scout groups, and more.
"The grant has greatly enhanced our ability to meet the growing interest in archery within our community. We are deeply grateful for this investment in our mission and vision to make archery accessible, inclusive and impactful for all."
Club leaders should review the grant application and read the Grant Rules and Instructions prior to completing the application. Grant applications are due June 30, 2025.
