Chula Vista, California - USA Archery has announced the addition of Chris Luman (Milton, GA) to its Resident Athlete Program at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA. Luman, the top ranked male cadet archer in the United States, participated for several years in the Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) and Junior Dream Team (JDT) programs. He joins several of the country's top senior archers, including Brady Ellison and Khatuna Lorig, in the Resident Athlete program.
"He is young, but very talented," states National Head Coach KiSik Lee, referring to Luman. "I hope he can become one of our team members for 2016." Guy Krueger, who works with Lee as the Resident Athlete Program Manager and Assistant Coach, echoed Lee's thoughts: "Chris has worked very hard over the last few months to get to the level he needs to be [at], and this is a great step towards the 2016 Olympic Team for him."
