Level 4 NTS Certification Courses with Olympic Coach KiSik Lee

There are several upcoming opportunities for Level 3-NTS coaches to upgrade to Level 4-NTS coaching certification! National Head Coach KiSik Lee will be leading two courses this winter and will be sharing what he learned during the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

The Level 4-NTS Coach Certification Course is appropriate for current Level 3-NTS coaches who desire to advance their coaching skills and become eligible for USA Archery National Development Program and International Team Staff (ITS) positions.  The Level 4-NTS Coach will learn the education of sports science in archery, psychology and biomechanics with a large emphasis on the National Training System (NTS).

The upcoming courses will be held November 13-19 and December 4-10, 2016 at the Easton Archery Center of Excellence in Chula Vista, CA. Limited spaces are available for the upcoming courses. As we have increased the number of spaces available per course, not all participants will be able to take the practical exam and the end of the course - those who do not complete the exam at the end of the course will need to take the exam in 2017.

The cost of the course is $720 for U.S. participants and $2,000 for international guests. This includes the training, lodging at the Olympic Training Center, meals, and shuttle transportation to and from the airport.

To be eligible for these courses, participants must have had a Level 3-NTS certification for at least two years. Participants are expected to know the steps of the National Training System and that coaches should plan on bringing a 3-5 minute video clip of them coaching one of their students.

To request registration for either of these courses, or for any questions, please Russell Nakishi at [email protected].
