The 8 hours course is designed for participant over the age 15, with active USA Archery, NFAA or ASA membership. The course cover: basic shooting steps, introduction to intermediate shooting steps, safety, range set-up; equipment setup and repair, fitting equipment to an archer and how to teach basics of archery.
Level 1 Instructor works with any archery program such as Junior Olympic Archery Development, After School Archery Program, College clubs and local clubs with a strong beginner component.
The cost is $175, if 8 and more participants, coast covers the education materials/booklets, rent of the room, equipment, and instructor’s fee.
A registration fee of $50 is required. It will be included in the final cost of the certification course. The fee will be fully refundable in case of cancelation by the organizer. Deadline for registration and for paying the registration fee is August 15, 2019. Full payment is required by August 24.
Bring own lunch, snacks, beverages as needed. Dress for the weather with closed-toe shoes. We run rain or shine, indoors and outdoors. Everything else is provided.
