2027 Sacramento, California State Indoor Championships U13 (Bowman) & U15 (Cub)

** This is the Sacramento location for U13 and U15, please be sure you are signing up for the correct location**

Date for U13 and U15: Friday January 8th, 2027 

Indoor Schedule: 

- Building opens at 7:00 am
- Equipment Inspection at 7:30 am
- 8:15 am Opening remarks, National Anthem, followed by Official Practice (three ends) and then
- Official Scoring.
- There will be a short 15 minute break between the two scoring rounds. Archers will shoot 2 rounds of 30 arrows (3 arrows per end)
- NO ADMITTANCE to FACILITY UNTIL 7:00 am

Disciplines: Recurve, Barebow, Compound, Para Recurve, Para Compound, Para VI, Para W1

Divisions: U13 and U15,
U13, and U15 FIXED PINS (DO NOT COUNT FOR STATE RANKING)

Target Faces: 

U13 - U15 Recurve, Barebow 40cm Single Spot target (outer 10 ring)
U13 – U15 Compound 40cm Single Spot or Three (3) Spot target (inner 10 ring)

Memberships: Current USAA membership, or purchase a temporary US Archery membership.

Registration Fee: All registration is online only on the US Archery Sport80 Platform.
$95 on or before December 1, 2026, at 11:59 am MT (Mountain Time)

$125 between Dec 1, 2026, 12:00 pm – Dec 15, 2026 at 11:59 am (Mountain Time)

Concessions on Site? Drinks and Snacks

Target Assignments: Target assignments shall be visible at BetweenEnds within five days of the event. 

Any corrections to age class or bow discipline SHALL be made as soon as you are aware and prior to the first arrow being shot. Only the tournament host may change information.

Practice Area Available? NO

Upon Arrival: Upon arrival, athletes shall proceed to the field of play area and find a chair near their target assignment and prepare their equipment for inspection. Athletes shall be wrist-banded during the equipment check procedure.

Awards: All State Awards (NO Guests) will be mailed after the completion of the two events.

Health Protocols: The event shall follow all California Health guidelines and Sacramento County Health guidelines. Mask wearing is at the preference of the archers/spectators. The host will not provide masks.

Facility Temperature: The facility temperature may fluctuate, so please bring a jacket or lap blanket just in case! NO PORTABLE HEATERS OF ANY TYPE ARE PERMITTED.

NO ACCESS TO FACILITY ELECTRICAL OUTLETS AT ANY TIME.

Rules: No smoking, vaping, or alcohol permitted on premises.

NO PETS ALLOWED. Service animals are allowed; please review

Venue Rules: You may not bring in personal chairs or ice chests, wagons,or any type of portable heating devices. No access to facility electrical outlets.

In preparation for the upcoming 2027 California State Championships, this email is a formal reminder that all
registered competitors and event personnel at a USA Archery-sanctioned event are required to adhere to the Minor
Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies (MAAPP) for the duration of the event.
