Oklahoma Indoor Series Event # 1

Welcome to the 2026/2027 Oklahoma Indoor Series.

Event#1: November 13 - 14, 2026 at Okie-land Bowhunter

    - Registration opens 9 October 2026

Event#2: December 4 - 6, 2026 at Archery Traditions, Yukon

    - Registration opens 1 September 2026

          (Not a stand-alone event, use your 1st session scores from the Frozen Okie) - $10 admin fee.

Event#3: February 19 - 20, 2027 at The Arrow Shop, Dewey

            - Registration opens 19 January 2027

Event#4: March 5 -6, 2027 at Archery Traditions of Oklahoma, Yukon

            - Registration opens 2 February 2027

Very important: The Series straddles two calendar years. Registration is set to check for age of participants based on the 2026 calendar year for the entire event.  – Other events in 2027 will boost you to the next age class.

Deadline for Event #1 registration: November 10, 2026. 

A 15% fee will be charged for cancellations up to this date, no refunds after November 11.

 

This is a USA Archery sanctioned event.

All participants must be members of USA Archery.

USA Archery dress code will apply.

  

Format: 60-arrow indoor round (20 ends of 3 arrows)

               18-meters U13 and up.

                

·        Recurve: as per World Archery rules.

·        Compound: 60lbs max, no electronics.

·        Barebow Recurve: bows without sight and other accessories.

·        Basic Compound: Genesis bows with no modifications for U13 - U15 only. 

·                No draw stop.

·                Maximum draw weight will be 20 lbs. 

·                No sight, stabilizer, peep or kisser button.

·                Shot only with fingers (glove, tab or bare fingers) are allowed. 

·                An arrow rest will be permitted.

·        Fixed Pins:

·                 Any sight pin, ring or dot (Multiple pins are allowed). 

·                 No magnification.

·                 No adjustments to equipment is allowed during a round.

·                   12" Max front stabilizer

·                 A single rear stabilizer or a single counter balance weight system of any length may be used. 

·        Arrows: Shaft 9.3mm max

·                       Points 9.4mm max

    Target sizes:

·        60cm: U13 - U15 Recurve, Barebow and Basic Compound

·        40cm: All others with a choice of Full or Triangular 3 Spot. 

 

Scoring matrix: 

·        Inner 10: Compound

·        Outer 10: Fixed Pins, Recurve, Barebow, Longbow, Traditional and Basic Compound.

 

 Ranking awards will be provided for overall performance in the series.

 Archers must participate in 3 events to be eligible for ranking awards. 

 

         Ranking System
         Place: 1 point
         Missed Event: 1000 points

·        Where an archer places at an individual event determines their ranking points for that event.

·        An archer will accrue a maximum of 1000 points for a missed event.

·        Tie-breakers for placement will be determined by official scores (10's, 9's).

·        Series awards will be based on final ranking after all events are complete, lowest points rank higher.

·        Archers must participate in 3 events to be eligible for awards.
