High Desert Archery October Pin Shoot

Join High Desert Archery at our with our USA Archery JOAD & AOAD October Pin Shoot!

This local event is open to current USA Archery members participating in the Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) and Adult Olympic Archery Development (AOAD) programs. Archers will shoot two official 30-arrow scoring rounds to earn USA Archery Achievement Pins and record their scores in a fun, supportive, and encouraging tournament environment.

Whether you're working toward your next achievement pin, preparing for the upcoming tournament season, or simply looking to finish the summer with a great round, this event is the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself and celebrate your progress.

Event Format:

·    Two 30-arrow official scoring round

·    Practice ends before scoring the first round, no practice ends between rounds

·    USA Archery rules and equipment divisions apply

·    JOAD and AOAD archers welcome

·    Awards and achievement pin recognition following scoring

 

Classes:

Explorer (14 and under) for basic compound (genesis bow) and recurve and barebow on a 60cm target at 9 meters **non-competitive**

Yeoman (10 and under)

Target choices:

60cm single: Yeoman Barebow and Olympic Recurve, U13/U15 Barebow and Olympic Recurve, Explorer divisions

40cm single or 40cm 3-Spot: Compound, Fixed Pins, U18/U21/Senior/Master 50+ Barebow and Olympic Recurve

Cancellations received on or after September 26th, are non-refundable. 
 

Note: You must adhere to the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies (MAAPP) for the entirety of the event.

Time:

Doors will open 45 minutes before the start time. Equipment inspection will start 30 minutes before start time.
