The Indoor Season Opener

FFX Archery will host the Indoor Season Opener tournament at the Bull Run Shooting Center in Centreville VA on October 17-18, 2026!

Use “Bull Run Shooting Center” in your navigation system. Follow directions to Bull Run Park and then follow signs to the Shooting Center. Our indoor archery enter is in the basement of the Shooting Center. 

This is a 60-arrow round (20 shooting ends of three arrows each end) with two practice ends at the beginning of each session. 

All archers will shoot a 40cm target (you may select either 10-ring or triangle 3-spot) at 18 meters. Compound inner 10-ring will be in effect. Recurve, Barebow, and Fixed Pins outer 10-ring will be in effect. 

There are four shooting times: 

- Saturday, 10/17 at 9:00am

- Saturday, 10/17 at 1:00pm

- Sunday, 10/18 at 9:00am

- Sunday, 10/18 at 1:00pm

Each shooting time will have a maximum of 28 competitors.

Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early to set up equipment and complete check-in and equipment inspection before your shooting time.

We will hold an awards ceremony shortly after the Sunday 1:00pm session ends. 

Archery Divisions: Recurve, Barebow, Compound, and Fixed Pins

Archery Classes: 

- U13 (formerly Bowman) through the calendar year of your 12th birthday

- U15 (formerly Cub) through the calendar year of your 14th birthday

- U18 (formerly Cadet) through the calendar year of your 17th birthday

- U21 (formerly Junior) through the calendar year of your 20th birthday

- Senior (any age may compete in the Senior class if desired)

- 50+ - 50 years of age or older

Early Registration Fee: $50.00 until Friday, October 9th, 2026

Late Registration Fee: $75.00 beginning Saturday, October 10th, 2026 until Wednesday, October 14th, 2026.

If you need to cancel your registration, you may receive a refund minus administrative fees if we receive your cancellation e-mail no later than Friday, October 9th, 2026.

All competitors must be USA Archery members, and must follow the USA Archery Dress Code

The Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies (MAAPP) will be in effect.
