Into The Woods 3-D 2023

Our Cub Run Archers of Arlington-Fairfax IWLA family invites you to join us for a unique shooting experience through our roving wooded 3-D nature course! Take part of history in the making as we unveil 10 brand new targets awarded by the 2022 USA Archery Grant through generous partnership with Bass Pro Shop and Cabelas Outdoor Fund. This will be an event to remember, as the first USA Archery-sanctioned 3-D event in our club's long history! 

The Into The Woods 3-D tournament will consistent of:

• 10am Shotgun start
• 2 scored rounds
• 14 targets per round
• 1 arrow per target

Registration fee:

$40 and includes lunch & refreshments for each registered shooter.

Schedule:

8:30am: Registration opens

8:30-9:00a: 3-D warm-up practice area available to all registered shooters

9:00a: Equipment safety inspection

9:30-9:45a: Safety announcements, welcome, & target assignments

9:45a: Shooters head to starting targets

10:00am: Shotgun start

12:00n-12:45p: Lunch provided to all registered shooters

3:30-4:00p: Awards will be presented onsite following the conclusion of the event. 

Distances: minimum is 5.5 to 49 yards

Disciplines: Barebow (Recurve), Compound, Recurve, and Fixed Pins.

Note: After considerable discussion, we have decided to waive the maximum arrow velocity rule for all classes. We will have the chronograph on site to measure arrow speed but only for the archer's knowledge.

Classes:

·         U18 (Previously Cadet) through the calendar year of the 17th birthday

·         Senior (any age)

·         50+ (Previously Masters 50) minimum 50 years of age

·         60+ (Previously Masters 60) minimum 60 years of age

·         70+ (Previously Masters 70) 70 years of age and older

All participants must follow the USA Archery Dress Code.

All competitors must be members of USA Archery or obtain a free USA Archery Temporary Membership.  Click here.

Cancellation policy:  A refund (net of USA Archery processing fees) is available if the e-mail cancellation request addressed to [email protected] is received prior to 06/04/23 at 8:00 am.  Cancellations after the time set are non-refundable.  A credit card refund will be issued to the registered individual once original payment is confirmed.  Please allow 3 days for organizers to process cancellation requests.
