2022 GAA State and JOAD Indoor Championship

Welcome to Statesboro for the 2022 Georgia Archery Association State and JOAD Indoor Championship!

This event will be a 60-arrow round for each the JOAD and the state (all-ages) events.  JOAD archers are welcome to register and compete in both events.

DIVISIONS: Barebow, Compound, Recurve

CLASS:
Master 70 – when the competition takes place in the year of their 70th birthday and thereafter
Master 60 – when the competition takes place in the year of their 60th birthday and thereafter
Master 50 – when the competition takes place in the year of their 50th birthday and thereafter
Senior – at any age
Junior – through the calendar year of their 20th birthday
Cadet – through the calendar year of their 17th birthday
Cub – through the calendar year of their 14th birthday
Bowman – through the calendar year of their 12h birthday
Yeoman - through the calendar year of their 9th birthday

All participants must be a member of USA Archery and must show proof of membership. USA Archery memberships can be purchased at www.teamusa.org/usa-archery. Archers must be a resident of Georgia to compete for State Championship awards. Guest divisions will be awarded for non-residents.

Tournament Format:

All Ages event will be a World Archery 18-meter Indoor Round, 60 arrows.

Archers will select between 40cm vertical or single spot target.

JOAD event will be an 18-meter 60-arrow indoor round.  Yeoman/Bowman/Cub Barebow and Recurve will shoot a 60cm target.  All others will select between 40cm vertical or single spot target.

Archers should arrive and check in 1 hour before shooting time.
All archers will be given 4 official practice rounds prior to official scoring.
World Archery Rules for shooting and equipment will be used at all times.
USA Archery dress code will be enforced.
