2021 USA Archery NH State JOAD Indoor Championship

Index Archers presents the 2021 NH JOAD State Championship.  This event is a sanctioned indoor JOAD 600 round.  

Athletes who have registered for this state JOAD championship event are also eligible to register for the 2021 USA Archery JOAD Indoor Nationals. More info here.

Who:  This event is open to archers who are residents of NH or members of a NH JOAD/AAP club.  Active USAA membership required.  If you register for this event and do not meet this qualification, a refund will be processed less a $15 processing fee.

COVID-19 guidelines:

• ·        COVID-19 waiver is required.  A link to an electronic waiver will be in your confirmation email. 
• ·        Temperatures are checked at the door.
• ·        Upon entrance to the range, everyone must sanitize their hands. Unscented sanitizer is provided.
• ·        Masks and/or face coverings that cover your nose and mouth are required to be worn by everyone.
• ·        Index Archers reserves the right to ask anyone to change their face covering to a surgical mask.
• ·        Archers can remove their mask when they are in their shooting box.
• ·        Social distancing is always in effect.

When:  Saturday, February 6 and Sunday, February 7, 2021. 

Sessions to choose from*: 

• ·        Saturday 10 am (check in at 9)
• ·        Saturday 2 pm (check in at 1)
• ·        Sunday 1 pm (check in at noon)

*Any session with fewer than eight participants will be closed, and archers can choose another session.  If these sessions fill, Friday evening sessions will be added. 

Where:  Index Archers at Bass Pro Shops in Hooksett, NH

Fees:  $45 for the NH JOAD State Championship

Format:

• ·        Three practice ends followed by 20 scoring ends.
• ·        There will be ONE line with 12 archers max per line.  There is no alternating line.
• ·        To keep the volume of people on the range to a minimum, each archer is allowed two guests only.
• ·        Cub and Bowman recurve archers will shoot 60 cm target faces.  All other archers can choose a vertical or a 40 cm single. 
• ·        Compound archers who choose a vertical will shoot a compound vertical (no outer ten line) and will change their target after the                  three practice ends, every fifth scoring end, or when a judge asks.  
•          Recurve archers who choose a vertical will shoot a recurve vertical (no inner ten line).

Draw weight:  Draw weight limit is 60 pounds and will be verified at bow inspection.

USAA Dress Code is expected.

Awards for first, second, and third places.

Cancelation policy:  Registration closes Friday, January 29.  Cancelations received prior to January 24 will receive a reduced refund due to processing fees.  No cancelations allowed after January 24.

Food: Due to the pandemic situation, there will be no food available.
