1st Colorado Field Archery State Championship

Information:

Event will consist of one Field Archery Round as described in the World Archery Rules. https://worldarchery.org/rulebook/article/1360

• Two courses will be used for a total of 24 targets.
          - One unmarked distance course with 12 targets.
          - One marked distance course with 12 targets.
• Groups of 2 to 4 archers will be assigned to start at a specific target.
• Two archers will shoot at the same time.
• Three arrows are shot per target.
• Paper double scoring will be utilized.
• Shotgun start for the morning round.
• Trickle start for the afternoon round.
• As groups finish the morning round, they may take a lunch break or continue to shoot the afternoon round. 

Shooting Divisions:

• Recurve.
• Compound.
• Barebow.
• Longbow/Traditional*.

*Note: Longbow/Traditional divisions will NOT be following World Archery nor USA Archery Traditional equipment rules. For details see document below. 

Age Classes:

There will be a male and female group for each of the classes described below:

• Cub: Through the calendar year of their 14th birthday.
• Cadet: Through the calendar year of their 17th birthday.
• Junior: Through the calendar year of their 20th birthday.
• Senior: Any age.
• Master: In the year of their 50th birthday and older.

Membership Requirements: 

Participants in USA Archery sanctioned events must have a current USA Archery membership. NFAA members can get a free single event membership to participate.
