Level 3 Practical

The Level 3 Coach Certification Courses focuses on developing coaches who are capable of utilizing evidence based coaching and teaching methods, understand the finer details and concepts of the National Training System for both Recurve and Compound, and provide organized and effective training programs. 

Students in the Level 3 Coach Certification Courses will be introduced to quality coaching, motor learning theory, coaching methods, feedback methods, the National Training System for Compound and Recurve, the mental process, movement analysis, training theory and design, athlete development, coaching philosophy and coach development. 

This course will be held at the Weber County Archery Park in Ogden, Utah on May 10 and 11.

Cost is $275 and a non-refundable deposit of $100 is due by May 3. The balance can be paid at the beginning of class. Payment of the deposit can be done by Venmo or Paypal; the balance can be Venmo, Paypal, or cash. Email Randi for Venmo and Paypal information.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum age is 19; must hold a current Level 2 Instructor certification*

Must be a member of USA Archery**; USA Archery background screening; Center for SafeSport Training

*Instructors or coaches may also test-in to the Level 3  course if they are not a Level 2 USA Archery Instructor if in addition to the prerequisites, at least one of the following must be met:

1. Competed in the Olympics, Paralympics or World Championships
2. Trained in the USA Archery Resident Athlete Program or
3. Current Level 3 or Level 4 Coach

**USA Archery membership required; NFAA membership will not satisfy the membership requirement.
