USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Practical

USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Certification Practical is an in-person course and is only taken after successfully completing the USA Archery Online Level 1 Instructor Training.

The USA Archery Instructor Practical is designed to enable the Level 1 Instructor candidate to demonstrate those archery skills required to be a Certified Level 1 Instructor.  Candidates will be required to demonstrate:

• ·         Practical application of Range Safety (indoor and outdoor).
• ·         Ability to safely shoot a bow and arrow.
• ·         Capable to teach basic archery skills.
• ·         Ability to give direct feedback.

Pre-registration is a requirement, and no one will be admitted to the course two days prior to the courses start date.

Please bring you own equipment or your program equipment.  If you do not have access to archery equipment, please inform the practical instructor so arrangements to have equipment available can be made.

Course Cost:  $80 (DUE DAY OF CLASS)

Course Date:  Saturday April 13, 2024

Course Start Time: 8:00 AM. Plan on arriving at least 15 -30 minutes prior to class start.

Course End Time: 12:00 PM

Certification Period: Three years from the date of course completion

Level 1 instructor candidates must successfully complete all section of the Level 1 Practical to complete the USA Archery Level 1 Certification requirements.

Prerequisites

·         Minimum Age:  15

·         Successfully passed the USA Archery Online Instructor Training with a minimum score of 75%

·         Level 1 course is NOT a prerequisite to attend the Level 2 course.
