Chickasaw Council, BSA Level 2 Practical- James

The USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification online course combines the USA Archery Level 1 Instructor certification course information with an introduction to the National Training System (NTS) Steps of Shooting for recurve and compound, equipment and accessory setup, athlete development and events. Benefits include eligibility to take the Instructor Trainer Certification Course, qualifications for Lead Instructor for advanced archery programs as well as eligibility to receive USA Archery insurance coverage.

Students must successfully pass the USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification online course and register and complete the "in-person" USA Archery Level 2 Instructor practical course.  The Level 2 Instructor certification is valid for three years and may be renewed online with USA Archery. Previous archery experience is not required.

Prior to registering for the course, instructors must have current U.S. Center for SafeSport training, current USA Archery Background Screening and a current USA Archery or National Field Archery Association membership.

The course will be taught in two sequential parts:

A four-hour, online component through USA Archery (completed prior to the Practical); and 0ne eight our hour “in-person” Practical portion which is to be reserved through USA Archery. This Practical course of for students who have completed their USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification Online Course within the USA Archery Education Hub at their own pace. Upon successful completion of the online course, students will then register for this in-person Practical Course.
