You must be a registered member of Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri to register for this course. USA Archery Level 1 Instructor certification is a required course for volunteers who wish to teach beginning archery skills to Brownies through Ambassadors, on or off Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri property. Girls 16 years of age and older are welcome to participate in this course. This USA Archery certification is valid for three years. New this year, the archery program at GSEM is offered in a blended learning format through USA Archery. To successfully complete the requirements for Level 1 Instructor Certification, volunteers must:
1. Register for an in-person, GSEM-hosted USA Archery Level 1 Instructor practical skills session in gsLearn
2. Pay for and complete the USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Certification online course on the USA Archery website
3. Log their choice of in-person, GSEM-hosted USA Archery Level 1 Instructor practical skills session on the USA Archery website (the same session they chose when they originally registered in gsLearn). This may only be done after passing the online course exam.
