Level II Instructor Certification Course--Coach Ed McKinney

Ed McKinney is a level 4 NTS coach. Coach McKinney currently is head coach of Central Kentucky JOAD and also head coach of the Georgetown College archery team. He also has had experience coaching NASP in which he was one of a very few coaches teaching the NTS shot process to NASP archers. Any NASP coach wishing to take their archers to a higher competitive level should attend this course. Coach McKinney's archers often make it to the medalists' podium in state and national tournaments.

The certification course will be held at Georgetown College, 400 East College Street, Georgetown, KY, in the George Bush Fitness Center.  The Level II USA Archery Instructor Certification course consists of two days.  The first day is the Level I Certification Course content and involves taking the Level I exam.  On day two, instructor candidates receive an introduction to the National Training System steps of the shot cycle and other material of which Level II Instructors must be competent. Certification requires demonstration of the ability to shoot and teach basic archery and passing a written exam. The cost of the two day course is $225 which includes student materials.
