Prize Money Announced for Team Rounds at USAT Events
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USAT Qualifier Series Team Rounds are now included as part of all USAT Qualifier Series Events. Team Rounds - fast paced and exciting - give archers valuable experience working as part of a team while competing in archery.
USA Archery has announced that prize money will be awarded at USAT Qualifier Series Team Rounds in 2014: $300 for the first place team; $150 for the second place team; and $90 for the third place team. Prize money will be awarded for teams in the following divisions: Recurve Men; Recurve Women; Compound Men; and Compound Women.
Registration procedures for the Easton Foundations Gator Cup, SoCal Showdown, and Texas Shootout:
- Check for directions on the event listing for specific Team Round registration procedures.
- Seniors, Juniors and Cadets can join to make a team of the same gender/same bow type.
- Teams must pre-register - as full 3-person teams.
- First 16 teams to register get to play.
- Competition takes place in afternoon on Official practice day.
- Teams will be randomly ranked for elimination match play.
Registration procedures for the
U.S. National Target Championships:
- Seniors and Masters can join to make a team of the same gender/same bow type.
- Individuals must pre-register during Check-in.
- Teams must pre-register - as full 3-person teams.
- First 16 teams to register get to play.
- Teams will be ranked on 1st day qualification scores of all 3 team members for elimination match play.
Please note new World Archery rules for recurve teams: mixed and 3-person recurve team competitions will now all be Set-System match play to 5 points.
