Level 1 Archery Instructor Course

The class covers learning how to shoot archery, archery range set-up, archery range safety, rules, procedures, commands and the teaching the basic form. There is a final written exam. The written part takes 1 hour. You will be mailed the course books before the class and you are expected to perform Self-Directed Learning of the book material; which is expected to take 6-8 hours of study. The course materials will be sent about one week before the class. You must pass with 75% for the written exam. Once you pass the exam, you will be certified as a Level 1 Instructor. The certification will be mailed to you by USA Archery.

Requirements for receiving Level 1 Instructor Certification:

• Minimum age of 15 years old
• Successful attendance to the course
• 75% or better on the Final Written Exam

If you fail the Final Written Exam, you may take the course again at a later date.

The class day is 10 hours long, starting at 8:00 am and ending at 6:00 pm. The first 2 hours are spent teaching you how to shoot archery. The is a short lunch break, 30 minutes. Then 6 hours are spent teaching you how to teach archery. There will be a review and then the Final Written Exam. The courses are limited to 12 participants each.

The course costs $150 per person. The deposit of $50 is due with registration. The deposit can be by credit card over the phone or credit, debit, cash or check in person at the shop or send a check payable to Ace Archers, Inc. to:

The final payment of $100 can be made in cash, check, credit card or debit card on the day of the course. All course materials are provided.
