Regional Elite Development Program National Camp Coach Observer Program

This RED Coach Observer Program is held at the Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista, CA.

The RED Coach Observer Program allows Level 2 Instructors and higher level Coaches to take part in RED program training, observing the camp coaches and archers, while getting hands on experience with the National Training System (NTS). The course will also focus on improving your coaching ability via analyzing your coaching style and communication and increasing understanding of the Athlete Competencies.  Participants will need to bring approximately 5 minutes of video of coaching activities, communication, and/or briefing and debriefing times with athletes.  In addition, coaches should be prepared to discuss their current training plans for their athletes.  There may also be some time set aside for hands on coaching and instruction with other participants while shooting light weight bows.  This course does count as continuing education for re-certification and is an excellent preparation for the Level 3-NTS course and Level 4-NTS course.

Registration:

On site registration is $700 and includes registration, facility use, transportation to and from the San Diego airport, housing at the Elite Athlete Training Center and meals. Registration deadline is March 22nd.

Off site registration is $350 and includes registration and facility access.

Arrival day is any time on June 24th.  Departure time is anytime on June 28th.

**Transportation to and from the airport may be available.  Transportation options will be included in the registration information sent out prior to camp.

 Cancellation policy

    •     Any cancellations 90 days before the beginning of the camp will result in a 15% cancellation fee. Any cancellations made with in 89 days of the camp will result in a 75% cancellation fee.
