Hot 'N Cold - Feb

The Hot 'N Cold Events are a set of outdoor events, held monthly during the winter months in Houston Texas at the Buffalo Field Archery Club's World Archery Range, shot at FITA distances. Their purpose is to practice and stay competitive for outdoor season. Each event is stand-alone - there is no series final. There are no formal awards for winning. X10 Archery will hold a 15-30 min archery informational from 9-9:30 on topics such as 3D, Field, Traditional archery news, training and tidbits! X10 JOAD archers who are not registered for the event can still shoot 1st round free for JOAD/AAP pins.

Practice will begin at 9am. Scoring will commence at 10am. Used decent targets will be used where possible to keep costs down.

Entry fee is $15 per person. The events are sanctioned with USAA, which means your scores will be eligible to set national records and JOAD/AAP pins.

Water and/or Gatorade will be available. Feel free to bring snacks. We have shade under our tent pavilion, but feel free to bring your own pop-up tents.

• Two rounds of 36 arrows (72 total) at FITA distance, with 10 min break in-between rounds
• Optional For Fun Elimination after both rounds complete. Three (3) brackets only. One barebow, One Recurve, One Compound bracket - shot at your FITA distance.
