2020 Buffalo Bulls-Eye Classic

The 2020 Buffalo Bulls-Eye Classic in Houston Texas has been cancelled due to the concern over the spread of Covad-19. I've spent the last 24 hrs seriously debating this move, as well as a few prayers. This cononavirus is not going to stop spreading without all our efforts. I feel awful cancelling this, but I would feel devastated if this event was the cause of one of our archers getting this virus. Cancelling is a small price IMHO. Stay well everyone. Refunds will be issued shortly.

The 2020 Buffalo Bulls-Eye Classic in Houston Texas is a two-part event shot at FITA distances - a Double FITA 72 arrow in the morning, and a Match Play Championship in the afternoon, all at the Buffalo Field Archery Club's World Archery Range. Each event is stand-alone and separate awards will be earned.

Practice will begin at 9am. Scoring will commence at 10am for the Double FITA. Match play championship will start 45 min after completion of the Double FITA.

Entry fee is $25 per person, and enters you into either or both parts. The event is sanctioned with USAA, which means your scores will be eligible to set national records and JOAD/AAP pins.

Water and/or Gatorade will be available. Feel free to bring snacks. Lunch orders will be taken Saturday morning for delivery to the venue. We have shade under our tent pavilion, but feel free to bring your own pop-up tents.

• IN THE MORNING at 10am: Double FITA - Two rounds of 36 arrows (72 total) at FITA distance, with 10 min break in-between rounds
• IN THE AFTERNOON 45 min afterwards: Match Play Championship - 3 rounds of Elimination in Pool play, followed by semi's and finals for the top 4 in each division. Three (3) divisions only - one Barebow, one Recurve, one Compound bracket - shot at the FITA distance for your age bracket. All ages and genders are lumped into one of the three brackets.
