Buffalo Pre-Nationals Warm-Up

THERE ARE NO JOAD DIVISIONS AVAILABLE - ONLY THOSE DIVISIONS SHOT AT US TARGET NATIONALS.

This is a practice warm-up event for US Target Nationals. No practice on the WA range Saturday or Sunday. Scoring will commence at 9 am Saturday and Sunday with three (3) practice ends. Two sets of 36 arrows (72 total) at the standard World Archery distance for your classification. There will be a 15 min break between 36 arrow rounds. The event is USA Archery sanctioned -- this means your scores will be eligible to set NATIONAL RECORDS! You can shoot both days or just one day - Saturday OR Sunday, if you wish. Price is the same.

After the two 36 arrow rounds are completed, we will take a 30 min break, and then run TEAM matches, again similar to how they will be shot at US Target Nationals. Team to consist of three (3) archers of same bow type (recurve, compound or barebow). 2 arrows per archer, 6 arrows per team, shot in 2 minutes. Match play style - 2 pts for end win, 1 pt for end tie. First to 5 points to win match. We will shoot team match play as either double elimination or pool style, depending on the number of archers, so everyone gets at least 2 practice matches. Bring your own team - we will form teams from any free agents available.

Entry fee is $20 per person for both days or one day. Team practice match play is free.

Water and/or Gatorade will be available. Feel free to bring snacks. We have shade under our tent pavilion, but feel free to bring your own pop-up tents.
