Prerequisites & Certification Requirements

• Minimum Age: 18 (A student who is 17 years old and within 30 days of his or her 18th birthday may take the Level 2 Archery Instructor Certification Course. However, the instructor may not submit the Applicant Data form until the student turns 18 years of age.)
• Membership $65 to USA Archery* or the National Field Archery Association (NFAA)
• U.S. Center for SafeSport Training Free Done online.
• USA Archery Background Screening $35 (Please note: You will not be able to register for the Level 2 course until the screening has been cleared by NCSI. Screenings typically take about 7-10 business days.)

What can you do with this Certification?

1.     Teach USA Archery Level 1.

2.     Take USA Archery Level II Instructor Trainer online and teach USA Archery Level 2.

3.     Set up and Teach Cubs and Boy Scouts Archery events at District and Council events.

4.       Become an Archery Merit Badge Counselor.

5.       Help promote and teach safe Archery.
