The Level 3 Coach Certification Courses focuses on developing coaches who are capable of utilizing evidence based coaching and teaching methods, understand the finer details and concepts of the National Training System for both Recurve and Compound, and provide organized and effective training programs.
Students in the Level 3 Coach Certification Courses will be introduced to quality coaching, motor learning theory, coaching methods, feedback methods, the National Training System for Compound and Recurve, the mental process, movement analysis, training theory and design, athlete development, coaching philosophy and coach development.
It is recommended that participants complete or review their online training within 2 weeks of the start date of this practical training. Protective coaches must demonstrate a proficient understanding of the coaching theory's covered as well as proficient knowledge of NTS.

Course Length: In person practical course - approximately 16 hours (Dependent on class size)
Course Cost: $325 - Level 3 Practical Course
Certification Period: Three years from the date of course completion
OR pass the online USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification Course* AND Verify 3 years of documented archery instructor/coaching experience
*Instructors or coaches may also test-in to the Level 3 course if they are not a Level 2 USA Archery Instructor if in addition to the prerequisites, at least one of the following must be met:
**USA Archery membership required; NFAA membership will not satisfy the membership requirement.
