Registration for USA Archery Level 1
or Level 2 Instructor begins by registering for an in-person practical skills
session in gsLearn. Registrants then pay for and complete the online portion of the course on the USA
Archery website.
To successfully complete the requirements for USA Archery Instructor, volunteers must:
1. Register for an in-person practical skills session in gsLearn.
2. Create a USA Archery account on the USA Archery website. Specific instructions will be sent to registrants via email through gsLearn.
3. Go to the USA Archery website and register for the in-person skills session after passing the online exam. This will be the same session you registered for in gsLearn.
4. Complete the in-person skills session held at one of our camp properties.
In Level 1, participants learn
about range safety, range setup, the steps of shooting, equipment, and
equipment repair. USA Archery Level I Instructor certification is a required
course for volunteers who wish to teach beginning archery skills to Brownies
through Ambassadors, on or off Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri property. Girls
16 years of age and older are welcome to participate. This USA Archery
certification is valid for three years and renewable online through the USA
Archery.
Register for an in-person practical skills session by opening the course in the Content Library, or by selecting "Live Sessions" from the navigation pane. You will then receive detailed instructions via email on how to navigate the USA Archery website and pay the $40 required for the online course.
