Level 3-NTS Coach TRAINER REFRESHER Course for RENEWAL

The Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer REFRESHER Course provides Level 3-NTS Coach TRAINERS with the tools to teach the new Level 3-NTS Practical Course. Coaches must complete the Level 3-NTS Online course prior to completing this course. The goal of the Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer REFRESHER course is to ensure USA Archery Level 3-NTS Coach certification courses are taught in correctly and consistently nationwide.

Upon successful completion of the Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer Online REFRESHER Course, each student will be certified as a Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer and qualified to teach the Level 3-NTS Coach Practical Course. 


USA Archery, the National Field Archery Association and the Archery Shooters Association recognize coach certification under a joint certification program. USA Archery administers the certification program on behalf of all organizations.


COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon successful participation in this course, coach trainers will be able to do the following:


• Facilitate the modules for the Level 3-NTS Practical Course
• Understand and apply a variety of facilitation tools and skills to promote student learning and retention of information and skills
• Understand and apply concepts of the 3 Stages of Motor Learning
• Evaluate a student’s ability to model the Steps of the National Training System
• Evaluate a student’s ability to teach archery at the appropriate skill level
• Evaluate a student’s ability to develop effective training session plans
• Know how to organize and sanction a Level 3-NTS Practical Course
• Know how to award certifications at the completion of the Level 3-NTS Practical Course
