2021 Virginia State JOAD Outdoor Championship

The Virginia JOAD State Championship will be held on August 28, 2021 at Tucker Park in Goochland.

We will start at 9am.

Tucker Park is located off of Route 522 in Goochland, next to the James River.

The East side of Tucker Park has our archery park and overflow parking area. The Tournament will be held on the West side of Tucker Park in the big field and features parking and a dog park and a playground. There is a new walkway that connects both sides of Tucker Park and goes under rt. 522.

Spectators are encouraged to bring pop up canopy tents and their own seating.

All JOAD ages and bow types are welcome to participate. Disances will be based on distances for their age division. Bow divisions are Compound, Barebow and Recurve.

We are also offering a Yeoman age division for younger shooters at 10 meters. 

Awards will follow after all scoring is completed and verified.

The Virginia USA Archery State Championship for All USA Archery age divisions will be held the following day at the same location.

Snacks and concessions will be available for purchase.

We will not use electronic scoring for this event.
