Level 1 Practical Course

The Level 1 Instructor's Course covers learning how to shoot archery, archery range set-up, archery range safety, rules, procedures. . There is a final written exam; which you must pass with 75% or better; and a practical exam. Once you pass the written and practical exams, you will be certified as a Level 1 Instructor. When your membership, Safe Sport and Background Screening are all completed then USA Archery will update your Certification

This Practical course is for students who have completed their USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Certification Online Course within the USA Archery Education Hub at their own pace. Upon successful completion of the online course, students will then register for this in-person Practical Course. This Practical course is 4 hours with a minimum age is 15. Certification Period is Three years from the date of course completion. Benefits of upon passing this course includes: (i) USA Archery Mobile Coach, (ii) Qualified to be the lead Instructor for an Explore Archery Program and, (iii) Eligible for USA Archery insurance coverage.
