GSHPA: Archery Level 1 at Camp Furnace Hills

Completion of this instructor training allows an adult volunteer to lead girls in archery at any of the four GSHPA properties. Please note that lunch will not be included in the course fee, so please bring your own. 

The minimum age for this training is 15 years old. Certification is valid for three years from the date of course completion. A minimum of 6 people are needed in order to run this course with a maximum of 12.

You will need to complete the online portion of the training through USA Archery before registering and attending this practical session. The online training is self-paced and can take between 4-6 hrs to complete, depending on your past experience. Link To USA Archery Online Training: https://www.usarchery.org/coaches/course-information/38360

This practical session will cost 10 dollars through GSHPA. Use the link to in the first paragraph to register and pay. 

Level 1 Instructors will be well prepared to teach beginner archery programs to people of all ages and abilities. The online session provides facilitators the necessary tools to maintain a high level of safety both on and off the archery range for camps and beginner archery programs. To successfully complete the requirements for this certification, students must successfully pass the USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Certification online course, including the online exam.
