Level 2 Instructor Practical Training

USA Archery Level 2 Practical Course

Course fee: $150

Time: 9:00am to 2:00pm both Thursday and Friday

There will be no lunch break, so bring a snack if needed. Wear comfortable clothing, as we will be active.

Where: Archery Excellence Indoor Archery Range at 4420 S Noland Road in Independence, MO

The USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification online course provides graduates the necessary tools to serve as the lead instructor for long-term archery programs such as Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD), Adult Archery Program and Collegiate Archery Program clubs, and the Explore Archery Program. To successfully complete the requirements for this certification, students must successfully pass the USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification online course, including the online exam and register for and complete the "in-person" USA Archery Level 2 Instructor practical course.

Instructors must have current U.S. Center for SafeSport training, current USA Archery Background Screen, and a current USA Archery or National Field Archery Association membership.

*Though USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Certification is NOT a prerequisite for this course, it is requested by our upper management that you have taken the level 1 online and practical instructor course and used the knowledge gained from that course (either by teaching with us for an 8 week session of beginner 1 or a NASP season), as you will have the ability to teach the level 1 instructor certification, as a level 2 instructor should you choose, and it would be helpful to know what you are doing, having gone through it yourself - the USA Archery level 1 instructor course is much more in depth than the NASP BAI training. In anything we do in life, we are creatures of habit, so the more we hear and do something, the more natural it is for us to use that knowledge and teach it to others.
