Prerequisites: Minimum age of 18. Must have a current USA Archery or NFAA membership, as well as completing a successful USA Archery background screen, and SafeSport certification required to register for this course. A USA Archery Level 1 Instructor certification is not a prerequisite for this course.
This is an in-person course that will cover the NTS Steps of Shooting for recurve and compound, equipment and accessories, athlete development, as well as intermediate coaching techniques. Lunch will be provided. Please notify us of any dietary restrictions prior to event. Your successful completion of your Level 2 Instructor Certification will qualify you to work with JOAD, NASP, collegiate, and local archery programs. You will also be qualified to teach the Level 1 Instructor course, and have coverage by USA Archery Insurance while you are actively engaged in a coaching session. Your certification through USA Archery will be valid for 3 years. This course may end earlier than 4pm.
