Wunderle, McCart Take Home International Cup Titles in Puerto Rico

The 5th International Cup, a COPANARCO world-ranking event, was held in Puerto Rico June 1-8 with three U.S. archers competing at the event. Two-time Olympian Vic Wunderle (Mason City, Ill.), 2005 World Indoor Championship team member Kathie McCart (Tucson, Ariz.) and David Ontell (New York, N.Y.) represented the U.S. at the event.

Wunderle won the event in the male recurve category and also had the second highest score at 90 meters and was high man at every other distance. McCart won the gold in the women’s recurve category and had the high score at every distance. Ontell finished the event in 6th place overall.
