Level 2 - Instructor

The purpose for a Level 2 course is to train current Level 1 instructors how to teach Level 1 courses. Generally, the Level 2 course requires 30 hours of instruction, and includes reviewing Level 1 materials, learning how to teach the Level 1 course, role playing with students as their instructor, proper shooting technique, equipment repair and maintenance. Course participants must be 18 years of age or older. The certification is valid for 4 years, and requires NAA membership. NADA assists by providing course instructors with course materials and temporary archery equipment for the course when needed.

Level 2 Certification Course Information

A Level 2 course requires 30 hours which is either taught in consecutive days, or by other arrangement (weekends, et cetera). You'll learn how to teach the NAA Level 1 course, how to maintain equipment, how to coach beginner archers, and how to create fun archery games to keep your Level 1 courses lively and exciting.

The total cost of attending a Level 2 course is determined by the course's host or instructor. Costs include $25 for educational materials and certification. NAA membership is required for the Level 2 certification to be recognized by the NAA (National Archery Association.) Full NAA membership is $50 per year (includes magazine). Associate membership is $25 per year (without magazine). A membership application is included in your student packet. NAA membership provides liability insurance coverage.  Please visit the NADA Message Board for Level 1 & 2 Coaching Courses Information.
