The U.S. Archery Team (USAT), established in 1982 and chosen yearly, consists of the top eight male and top eight female recurve archers and the top five male and top five female compound archers in the country.
The Junior U.S. Archery Team consists of the top five male and top five female recurve archers and the top five male and top five compound archers in the Junior division (up to and in the year of their 18th birthday), as well as the top-ranked Cadet division (up to and in the year of their 16th birthday) archer in each of the four divisions.
