CHULA VISTA, Cailf. - The USA Archery Official Resident Athlete (RA) Program started up again at the Olympic Training Center (OTC) in Chula Vista, Calif. on March 1, 2006. USA Archery had not had an official RA Program in Chula Vista since June of 2004, following the 2004 Olympic Trials. The new RA Program will be under the instruction of National Head Coach KiSik Lee and Assistant RA Coach Larry Skinner.
The RAs live at the OTC and train every day at The Easton Archery Complex, on the grounds of the OTC, which is the largest permanent archery range in North America. It consists of 50 lanes have moveable targets that can be set at 30, 50, 60, 70 and 90 meters. With this world-class facility at their disposal and the warm climate of Southern California, it makes outdoor year-round training possible for some of the best up and coming recurve archers in the country. The current 10 (six men, four women) RAs include: Josh Anderson (College Station, Texas), Brian Brodine (Rochester, N.Y.), Tyler Domenech (Airville, Pa.), Brady Ellison (Glendale, Ariz.), Guy Krueger (Blessing, Texas), Tyler Martin (Montville, N.J.), Kate Anderson (Los Angeles, Calif.), Rachel Caldwell (Fort Collins, Colo.), Joy Fahrenkrog (Castle Rock, Colo.) and Tiffany Hirano (Irvine, Calif.).
